ko percentage doesnt mean much. wilder has a higher ko percentage than donaire but he faced mostly bums. donaire faced really good competition most of his career and really good competition is harder to ko. wilder faced bad competition which is easier to ko and kod most of them. donaire ko'd nishioka...

did he really struggle with haney though? the judges struggled wtih their vision but that was a clear win for loma. weight didnt really matter or negatively affect loma. he was in control of the fight....

and all those guys beat the tank that fought cruz, and cruz is the only decent opponent he has fough at 135 and yet..tank is the best for getting a dubious decision over him. the hype is almost palpable...

as a percentage of body weight moving from 108 to 135 is a 25 percent increase in your mass. a 25 percent increase in mass for someone who started at 130 would land them somewhere between 160 and 168. i know lots of medium to higher weight guys have moved up 30 pounds but not many guys who started that...

replied to Shingo Inoue as a trainer
naoya needs to get virgil hunter as trainer so he can clinch, headbutt, lowblow, and hold and hit nonstop. this will get him to p4p #1. oh yeah and rob his opponents that clearly beat him. ive seen it happen

  • oh yeah i forgot he also beat ruiz so 3 guys in their primes. as opposed to 0 for wilder. thats pretty different and the older guys joshua beat were much better than the older guys wilder beat. not even comparable. and wilder ducked joshua i think thats pretty clearly been settled? he ducked him over...

  • well its a bigger percentage of weight going from 115 to 122 then from 160 to 168 or 168 to 175 for example. its like going up 1 and a half weight classes if he was fighting at welterweight to light heavy. not impossible but not the easiest thing either to do. moving up 1 weight class is a little easier...

  • what happened now? charlo didnt want to mix with the big boys who were over at dazn and thats that. it was another wilder situation. charlo turned down an offer to face canelo on dazn. dazn is where ggg was fighting on a 6 fight deal since early 2019. at that point charlos last fight was a gift decision...

  • I don't think going from 108 to 147 and going from 130 to 147 can be described as the same thing.

Manny fought marg and marg weighed 165 pounds in the ring. Floyd never in a million years would fight marg instead choosing Sharma Mitchell for half thr money, Zab, Baldomir, retirement, etc.....

  • it wasnt. i will properly lay out an argument with evidence. donaire literally hit him with one of the biggest left hooks to the body you will ever see at the end of round 3. go to 14:55 of the video i will post at bottom. you can see burnett grimace in pain right when it happens. then and only then...

  • oscar and floyd were supposed to rematch at 147. floyd pulled out and oscar decided to continue fighting at 147. why did he do that? well he had just lost a close fight with floyd who was considered the best fighter in the world so beating a little pacquiao seemed easy to him.

  • he does not. his resume over the last couple years has been mediocre and he flat out ducked the #1 guy in his division. if innoue said i cant fight fulton i need 200 million dollars he would be out of the running as well. if innoue said fulton needs to beat figueroa and then he goes and does it and...

  • Floyd ducked a guy like nery called Margarito. Boxing isn't about just defense. Why concentrate on one aspect of a fighter. He doesn't have the fast twitch movement to be a defensive wiz.. why would he try that? He comes to put pressure on you and catch you. That's just a style you don't respect but...

  • You are now going from the no true Scotsman to moving thr goalposts fallacy. Donaire won that fight legit. He hit burnett with a huge body shot at the end of the 3rd round right where burnett had his injury. Maybe it's just a coincidence sure but seems to me that punch contributed in some way to him...

  • That sounds like your bias talking though. Nery is not trash. His defense isn't great but he's not a defensive fighter. It's hard to have an entire division full of bums...
