WBA/WBC junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia (27-0, 16 KOs) is not expecting a walkover defense when he takes on Mauricio Herrera (20-3, 7 KOs) at the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

Herrera, who a few years ago defeated Ruslan Providnikov and went to war with Mike Alvarado, has never been stopped and plans to shock the packed Puerto Rican crowd at the venue - just like he with Provodnikov back in their 2011 fight in Las Vegas.

"I've waited a long time for a fight like this, and while I know Garcia is the favorite, I won't be underestimated. I love the underdog role and I'm going to shock the world on March 15," Herrera said.

"I know this is a huge opportunity, and I'm going to take full advantage of it. To have a shot at Danny's belts has been a dream of mine for a long time. Danny Garcia is an intelligent and tough fighter, but so am I. I'm coming to Puerto Rico and I know there is a lot of pressure, but hopefully they will support me too."
