Is It Fair NSAC Denied A Pro Boxer A Career High Payday, But Allow Someon Pro Debut..

Is it fair that NSAC denied a professional boxer his career high payday against Andre Ward (Rohan Murdock 19-1) citing a mismatch when Rohan Murdock is a active professional boxer with a record of 19-1 but turns around and allows someone to have a pro debut against arguably the best fighter of this era.

    So in NSAC eyes

a professional boxer with a record of 19-1 with a 70% KO ratio is a mismtach for a boxer who is 31-0 with a 48% KO ratio

    but

a Boxer who never boxed professional before and looking to make his pro debut so is 0-0-0 with a 0% KO ratio is not a mismatch to face a professionally boxer who has been boxer 20+ years with a record of 49-0 with a 53% KO ratio.

WHERE IS THE FUCKING OVERSIGHT AT?

like I said in another thread, the NSAC would back a prime Tyson against a 96 year old great grandmother with two broken hips so long as the money was right

McGregor is one of the best fighters in combat sports. It's not like Mayweather is fighting someone off the street. McGregor is a very experienced fighter and is known for his striking. Such talented people get leeway. There was no outrage when Toney fought in the UFC.

          That's actually a good point.

I still think McGregor will be way out of his depth but I guess it's consistent of them to offer him a license.

Naw, man. UFC has guys from all kinds of different specialities, a boxer has a reasonable chance if he can make the fight on his terms (and has basic knowledge of defending against takedowns etc), whereas a generalist UFC fighter going into a specialist sport - be it boxing, judo or whatever is going to be out of his depth against almost any fighter of the top level. It kinda works one way round, but not the other.

That said whilst I do consider this a joke fight I certainly don't begrudge Floyd and Conor the opportunity to fleece the fans for a few more $ million if they can get away with it.

Well explain how they knocked back Murdoch when at the time he was ranked 6 with the WBO, it's corruption plain and simple, floyd owns the NSAC

Of course it's not fair but it's all about the money.

                  Technically it isn't.

But the reason is obviously because of money. Ward against a nobody in a fight no one was interested in was easy for them to say no to. Floyd vs McGregor will do huge numbers and benefit a lot of people.

And Floyd has way more pull than Andre Ward.

Is Murdoch an elite level fighter? People with talent get more leeway in every sport. Has nothing to do with Mayweather. You people that think Mayweather owns NSAC, judges, referees, USADA etc are a bunch of fucking idiots.
