What are your thoughts on BJ Penn at welterweight?

bj penn had on platform shoes when they measured him in reality he's only 5'3 and he wears weighted clothes..he really walks around at 135 lbs so hes always undersized..its just amazing how he keeps on winning

and he almost beat a super heavyweight GSP in their first fight. that's pretty impressive.

I still think, even as a big GSP fan, that Penn has better boxing. His jab, his head movement.... he has very solid boxing fundamentals. In my opinion he has the best boxing in the sport.

But GSP is the better striker overall.

I agree that penn is a better combination puncher, but st.pierre has a better jab and better long range punches. he comes in with punches from distance that I don't think penn could pull off.

If BJ could make some of that extra weight Muscle, he could have a chance . Maybe come in a good 165. then a okay 170. That could help him move better.
