Everyone not including native Americans is an immigrant/ came from immigrants though..... EVERYONE! The great USA was built off of immigrants and the economy now benefits immensely from cheap labor that immigrants provide. I understand the issue with this topic. How about legalize all the immigrants that are have been 8n the US longer than 10 straight years that have 0 criminal records, while working on securing the border and reviewing and potentially changing the childbirth right thing?

      Fantastic point!

The irony is that the descendants of White colonizers now seek to deport Native American Latinos from their own ancestral lands.

      Delicious

          Smart move by Trump.

The majority of Americans support strong borders. The democrats have vowed to resist everything Trump says and does, this forces them to defend open borders and illegal immigration. This pushes moderates and independants towards the Republican vote.

No idea if it'll actually happen, presumably it'll take a long time to go through the courts, but people are talking about it and bringing the conversation back to immigration which is a W for Trump.

Right I get it. Just that the immigrants that are here now doing the tough labor, that abide by laws and pay taxes, are being denied all the rights that a citizen has... Time is passing and soon those immigrants wont care to get the status they dream about because it'll be too late. All those children that were born here wont forget who opposed that for their parents and who supported the ideas.

The Republican touting of strong borders is such BS. The truth is Republicans never seem to really want to stop the flow of drugs and illegals into the US or else they can't justify more money for defense, policing and prisons.

Look at the girl in Iowa that was killed by the illegal. That was news until they found out a Republican activist and donor employed that illegal on one of his farms. Then suddenly that was out of the news cycle.

If Republicans are really about strong borders and not just using it to rile up the base then how about actually stopping drugs and illegals from coming in to the US by prosecuting the rich people that bring them in (through shipping and airplane companies) and employing them, like dude in Iowa.

If you cut off an illegals ability to earn money in this country, and start arresting the real people responsible for bringing cocaine and heroin into the US then our borders will be strong.

If you prosecute anyone that has hired an illegal when they get arrested for committing crimes in the US, that will surely stop alot of this.

Until that day its just BS!!

That's a good point, and about the drugs... You can't blame anyone but the US. It's supply and demand, if the US didn't pay, Mexico wouldn't supply simple as that.

I don't blame anyone but those that like to do cocaine the "rich people's drug".

Republicans basically want coke to be cheap and labor to be cheap but then claim to want "strong borders" which would make coke much more expensive and cheap immigrant labor all but disappear.
