They are running one hell of a divide and conquer on us. They want white vs black, rich vs poor, man vs woman.

I think the whole idea of political correctness has hurt us. We haven't wanted to say anything to offend each other for so long now, that real conversation hasn't happened. Feelings have been bottled up and we're seeing explosions from it

I think the economic divide is the main divide that has to be addressed. fix that and then the race divide becomes much easier to heal because people with the same "wealth" or "worth" generally have the same interests, controlling for race, gender, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation.

I think a very small group continues to leverage the rest of us.

I think it has hurt as well but for different reasons. i think it allows people that do discriminate to hide behind language and policy. I think it would be better if people got offended because when they do they get angry at that generally sparks discussion that leads to change.
