This song drives my dog crazy. She was looking for dogs in the closet just a minute ago. I have noticed that songs from Meddle have been posted a lot in this thread. Good to see that album getting some love.

Definitely! I still remember being 16 high af, and getting a near panic attack from the intro to dark side of the moon. The heartbeat part.

I had a friend who had never done any drugs of any kind before, and one day decided to drink san pedro tea(mescaline) with a few other guys and he tripped balls. I was with him later that night and he wanted to listen to the track Echoes over and over. I think we made it through 4 or 5 plays before I had to head home lol. Good times.

This album just turned 40 last month. It's considered the most underrated PF album but I've always loved it.

Agreed, definitely their most underrated album.

Actually one of my favorites. I have it right up there with my other favorites, Wish You Were Here, Meddle and Dark Side.

Animals is sandwiched in between Wish you were here and the Wall, so it gets overlooked unfortunately.
