I know you love Trump but it is possible the tariffs have hurt major automotive and agricultural companies.

No Dunn, that is the liberal media’s spin on it. Ford was planning and investing in reorganizing the company for a while, and the layoffs will be in the South American and European divisions, who are hemorrhaging billions from the company every year. While there might be layoffs in the North America, that is not yet certain, and is not at all the main factor in Ford’s plan.

Also, Ford buys mostly domestic metals, and although it rised in prices due to tariffs, it is far from being the worst of Ford’s losses. What’s killing Ford is a lack of sales, which sells 52 vehicles per employee versus Ford’s 32 vehicles per employee. Bad sales and a much needed restructuring in its management is what mostly leads to a cut in Ford’s workforce. The layoffs were longtime in the planning.

Ford was struggling and it's nothing to do with Trump or the tariffs.

Ford had issues with their upper management for a while, they are killing of their whole car portfolio for America besides the Mustang, and will focus on pickups, SUVs and crossovers.

They are in the middle of a whole company restructure and those layoffs would have happened in any case.

Long before the tariffs Ford had pledged to stop producing all their passenger cars except the Mustang and one other model (they have since said only the Mustang will remain) to concentrate on trucks and SUVs.

Anyone with common sense knows that when a product stops being produced that those who manufacture said products are sadly going to be laid off.

Its Economics 101, but the superfans gotta try and make it about politics, just like they do everything else.

Lmao, Libtards still crying about the investigation being limited in scope. Limited in scope means having a precise target, and not going fishing like Mueller. They could have found out that one of Kavanaugh’s drinking buddies might have cheated on his taxes a decade ago, or maybe Kavanaugh forgot to drop the toilet seat after taking a leak.
