If she did resign she's gearing up for her 2020 presidential run

She may run, but it wont be in 2020.

It's rare for an incumbent President to be challenged in a primary, except maybe by fringe candidates.

My prediction

Global interest rates will continue rising

Global growth will continue to slow

Trump will attempt to stimulate US economy with massive (& needed btw) infrastructure spend thereby placing additional demands on credit markets
