Cmon, lets say you're going to buy a new truck 60k lets say. They say nope we want 65k and you say sorry no deal. They call and call and say we can still do that deal for 65k. You say nope! Then they call at the end of the month and say cmon down we need a sale.

I said if you feel you can get a better deal you should renegotiate. A football player is gonna try and re-negotiate coming off a good year going into the last year of his contract. A trade war would be that player deciding to sit out until a deal is reached. Then they come back to play 4 games in and it takes them a while to get up to speed then they get hurt. Now they've had a terrible season in the final year of their contract and won't get as much as they would've gotten by negotiating while playing.
