I'm sure that many of us in this thread have been the victim of similar 'discipline' during our childhoods, but the fact that most of us turned out well doesn't excuse the fact that it's still child abuse.

I would wager a bet that, if violently beating his daughters with cables for posting something dumb on the internet was this pathetic excuse for a father's first reaction, then this isn't the first time he's committed child abuse.

probably most of the beatings we got were considered child abuse also but back in those times but I wouldn't dare tell my mom I was gonna call the cops on her cause things would get really ugly

Give a damn how they were dancing, that doesn't give the dad the right to beat them like that. There are plenty of forms of discipline (including "whipping") that won't result in physical scars.

Teen pregnancy is just a consequence of parents not teaching or controlling their children better. Most people don't learn until something bad happens, and it's a parent's job to teach while also preventing that bad thing from happening.

Stripping on a webcam, even if it's to your ******ed teen boyfriend who's gonna post it on the internet and show it to all his friends, is not a good decision and is no way for a girl that's not a slut to act.

What if she wanted to do something with her career, and somebody found that video of her? Career over.
