Thanking is god is often misunderstood by people interpreting things to fit their agenda.
its not like god did some magic and bam furys good as long as he thanks god.
if something has you worried, you might pray to god. for some one who has faith in god the act of praying sttles their mind, and removes the stress from the upcoming event. often times stress plays a major role in the outcome of a competition. if you can enter soemthing with out stress, you may or maynot win but youll do better then if you were stressed out about it.
aswell there is also the life style, there are many paths one can take and alot of the paths are very similar containing hard work and dedication. but the ends is what is the diffrence, some one might work hard because of their girl friend, or for a trophy, or for themselfs.
some one on the path of hard work and dedication for god sees god as whats driving them and thanks god, really they should thank their hard work and dedication....but at the same time if they didnt have god as the driving force we cant really say whether they would or wouldnt have worked as hard and been as dedicated.
