They may know, but they are pandering to a very small demographic, while isolating large groups of fans.

They've destroyed Star Wars by pandering to activists and women, despite men being the majority of Star Wars fans. And they've lost money on Solo, and each new SW movie made less than the last. The 3rd one only made half what the first movie did.

Then we have Indiana Jones, The Marvels, and even Scooby-Doo losing fans/money because of the pandering to extremist people, while saying the existing fans who don't like the new direction are "toxic".

I don't believe it's the government's place to tell businesses who they can and can't fire.

Also, she is suing for defamation as well, on top of wrongful termination.

They've also lost significant money when it comes to Pixar animated films. A Pixar film released worldwide used to mean at a minimum of $800+ million at the global box office, with many surpassing the $1 billion mark. Now they are money losers, where many in the past years have completely bombed at the box office. As you've said, they've pandered to a very small demographic, that were very vocal online and in real life, while angering the large groups of fans, in the case of Pixar films, those fans comprised of families with young children.

Scooby Doo or at least the Velma show was Warner Brothers, and that was a flop.

but yeah Disney’s woke pandering has cost them billions, Marvel hasn’t had a hit since End Game, Spider-Man made money, but Sony kept most of it, Pixar has had failure after failure, Disney has ruined and butchered all of George Lucas’ former IPs, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Willow, the Little Mermaid was a flop, they’re now reshooting Snow White because they know that’s going to flop harder than Little Mermaid, they’re completely redoing Captain America 4 because they know it’s going to be another The Marvels disaster, the D+ shows like She-Hulk and Ms Marvel were huge flops, took them weeks to get the the numbers that House of the Dragon had in one weekend. The Jonathan Majors thing was a huge kick in the balls for them. The only thing that saved them last year was Avatar, but that was all James Cameron.
