Keep watching the trial. Listen to his own fellow officers and the specialists. They are doing a hell of a job proving beyond a reasonable doubt that Chauvin was responsible for Floyd's death.

You are free to think as you please. What has been proven by the prosecution? .............Rockin'

Go back and review the 60 pages here, since apparently you haven't been paying attention.

Remember. He doesn't have to be found to be the only cause of death. The prosecution must prove that his actions were a substantial causal factor in Floyd's death.

It seems to me that you think Chauvin should walk free.
Actually I think he bears some responsibility and I would have no problem with say negligent homicide. I think he has been over charged. I must say you are like a bulldog.

He used unreasonable force which is assault, at the very minimum it's manslaughter.

My bad. I'm not trying to be like a "bulldog." I'm just sincerely trying to understand why anyone wouldn't see this as murder.

Let me ask you one more question (that of course you don't have to answer if you don't want). Do you believe that Chauvin having his knee on Floyd's neck even after he was told Floyd had no pulse displays a "depraved mind"?

You really think they're proving he intended to kill him? Despite the doctor's stating if he were found in his house with same injuries and blood work, they have declared it an overdose. Despite his body camera showing him on his shoulder and not his neck. This was confirmed by the prosecution's witness who acknowledged he was on his shoulder. Additionally, their police department trains them to use the knee on the back. You're not looking objectively at the facts. You're looking at this through an emotional lens.

They don't have to prove he intended to kill him. The charge is 2nd degree unintentional murder.
Obviously if he was home alone and died it would have to be an overdose. What they didn't say is that he would have died if he were home alone. All indications is that he would be alive today if not for the deadly force used by the cop. He would have probably just been taken to jail (and still alive) like the numerous DUI arrestees with fentanyl levels much higher than his.
The body camera was revealed to show him possibly being off of his neck only at the moment that EMS came. It was measured as being on his neck for 90% of the time that it's on video. A number of members of the police force testified that they do NOT teach that as a restraining technique. The only thing that anyone seemed to come close to saying is that a knee on the back could be used to cuff someone. Again, all of his blue buddies testified that they didn't know what the hell he was doing, but he wasn't trained to do it.

They don't have to. It doesn't matter whether he intended to or not. Look up 2nd and 3rd degree murder Minnesota law.

Actually I think you're looking at this through an emotional lens if you can't allow yourself to view this as a murder. That lie you're telling about him being on his shoulder and not his neck confirms your emotional involvement with this case.

The police department does not train them to use that technique and nobody testified that. Stop lying.

Some of you in this thread are unbelievable with the BS you try to come up with to defend that murdering Cop.

                    • Did he arrived on the scene with the intent to murder him? Don't think so. But when he got him on the ground in a defenseless situation he took advantage of it to show his dominance. At that point the welfare of Floyd wasn't important to Chauvin. All that mattered to him was enjoying his display of power. The man is clearly derranged. It's murder in the second degree. No way around it.
