  • No, they'll likely just shave the meniscus off and he'll be back quickly. Both Karl Anthony-Towns and Joel Embiid in the NBA had the exact same injury this season. Towns came back extremely fast, just 4 weeks after the surgery, while Embiid took 8 weeks. But in general it's a 6-8 week recovery timeline...

  • A torn meniscus is usually a 6-8 week injury if they just do a shave, which they probably will. Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns in the NBA both had the exact same injury this season. Towns returned just 4 weeks later, Embiid took the full 8 weeks, but they both made it back pretty quickly after their...

  • If they were going to make up a fake injury, they wouldn't pick a torn meniscus. A torn meniscus will show up on an MRI and Bivol's team would obviously have asked for an MRI if there were any doubt to the legitimacy of the injury.

If they were going to fake something they'd pick an injury...

  • This is a joke of a fight.

I didn't like the Charlo or Ryder fights and I think he should be fighting Benavidez over Munguia, but at least all three of Charlo/Ryder/Munguia had been in there with world level guys. Berlanga is completely untested and undeserving in every way.

  • The second fight did not end in the correct decision. Taylor got dropped clean and it was incorrectly ruled a slip. If that knockdown were scored, Cameron retains....

  • Shannon Briggs admitted it, at least once. He's probably still taking them, lol.

But at least one of the times he pretty much said, "Yeah, I'm old, I cheated, I'm sorry."

  • Europe has basketball. Euroleague is the 2nd best league in the world after the NBA and several of the best players in the NBA came from Europe (Nikola Jokic, Serbia; Giannis Antetokuonmpo, Greece; Luka Doncic, Slovenia)....

  • He also beat Lee Selby in the UK and Mickey Bey in the US, both times as a road B-side underdog. He didn't look good against Haney or Hughes but it doesn't mean he sucked all along. He beat three guys in a row he wasn't supposed to beat in their home countries in Bey, Selby, and Lopez to become the...

  • How many of Robert's sons and nephews are pro fighters right now? 3 or 4?

EDIT: it's 3. The son mentioned in the articles and then the nephews.

  • No. It's legal to grab the head or the neck with one hand but you're not supposed to be able to put your fingers in their hair....

  • Dulorme was too small for 147, let alone 154. He was 4-4-1 at 147 and the 4 wins were against journeymen. His last quality wins came at 140 in 2014, before Crawford effectively ended his career as a contender in 2015....

  • Dulorme had no business fighting at 154. He was 4-4-1 at 147 and the wins were not against good opponents. His last decent wins came at 140 in 2014.

  • Barthelemy hasn't been super active but he's never really been beaten badly either. The Russell fight was a bogus stoppage. He's a hard guy to fight against and Ramirez himself is pretty clearly past his prime as well after consecutive fights with Imam, Orozco, Zepeda, Hooker, Postol, Taylor, Pedraza,...

  • Punches are the only legal attacks. No backfists, forearms, elbows, knees, kicks, headbutts, throws, takedowns, submissions, or trips.
You can hold with one hand and punch with the other but if you hold without punching or hold with both hands the ref will break it
    You cannot legally grab...

  • Technically you're not allowed to grab the hair. The ref should have stepped in and warned Riggs for it.

But BKFC has horrible refs and judges, so it's not surprising....
