Smother aka holding and bending below the waist. Oh hello kenny bayless! You did great in in audition in the maidana rematch. If it was smarter how come it didn't lead to any results and in boxing tbe results are clean punches which he did not have. Pac did. Moving away from your opponent throwing useless grazing jabs is not a great strategy unless your name is Floyd. If his name wasn't Floyd that's a loss. Prime for prime he gets killed and Floyd knows that. That's why he ducked it. Didn't duck Baldomir though

Manny in his prime (2009-2011) would probably walk thru Floyd honestly. That's why Floyd avoided Pac during that time. Manny was a monster. Mayweather would outbox Pacquiao until he got caught. Manny in those days would most likely knock down, TKO, or KO Floyd. He had too much speed, threw crazy combos with blinding speed and concussive power, and never got tired. Floyd would definitely have gotten his bell rung by Manny.

Floyd would have to have been extremely strong, sharp and focused. He looked very sharp, fast, and strong against Victor Ortiz. He would have a great chance at beating Manny skillwise in those days, but I don't think Floyd's chin would hold up. Manny would ROCK and HURT Mayweather like no boxer has before and the punches wouldn't stop coming.

All we can talk about is a 100% Manny vs 100% Jr. Prime Manny mauls Fraud Jr. The fight they had was a farce before it even happened. Manny wasn't his 30yr destructive self and he came into the fight with a shoulder injury. Anyone whose had that, knows they can't move their arms with confidence as they did without the injury (I have one). Despite all the BS against Manny, he put up a solid fight in a horribly boring fight that I don't care who won. Jr. is lame no matter what the outcome was. Manny will still be remembered for putting on the more entertaining/dominating/impressive performances between the two, period.

Something that was apparent when Manny and Floyd fought was Floyd's clear advantage in hand and foot speed. He was a level above Manny. Ring IQ and defense were gimmes from jump.

A more prime version of Floyd is even sharper and faster. He just all wrong for Manny style-wise.

Only Castillo and Maidana went aggressive on Floyd, simply because he timed them and shut them down, Floyd would have beat Manny like a drum in their primes around 130-135
