Both just swung for the fences.
Riggs with a massive size advantage getting the better of it and constantly grabbing Angulo by the hair (guessing this isn't actually allowed)
then gets wiped clean out by a massive right hand from El Perro

This is my first time watching Bare knuckle/BKFC.. this is the second fight tonight that I have seen holding from behind the head & for both bouts the refs both saying absolutely nothing about it, for that matter the commentators have never once acknowledged it(that I heard) so I am really curious what the actual rules are here

Technically you're not allowed to grab the hair. The ref should have stepped in and warned Riggs for it.

But BKFC has horrible refs and judges, so it's not surprising.

Punches are the only legal attacks. No backfists, forearms, elbows, knees, kicks, headbutts, throws, takedowns, submissions, or trips.
You can hold with one hand and punch with the other but if you hold without punching or hold with both hands the ref will break it
You cannot legally grab their hair but the ref allowed it anyway tonight

So getting someone in a half Thai plum behind the neck and pulling their head down into your punch with the other hand is totally fine. Swinging your opponent around by the hair is not.

one of the worst BKFC events, the co main events ended in injuries, and the main event Alvez looks like came for a paycheck.
