    First week of boxing done

    Super exhausting.

I been lifting weights my whole life but never realized how outta shape I was until this week.

3 days a week, hour each.
    Boxing mixed with S&C.
Total taxation on the body, I can feel the difference immediately. Bout to shred up boys!

Props for getting out there and doing it. Even if you are working at a beginner level, you see how hard it is.

If you stick with the boxing you will just end up with better conditioning........Rockin'

            Put that work in!

As fighters we say, there's in shape, and there's fighting shape! You're about to reach that next level.

              It’s seriously no joke.

Grueling training but love it when I’m done.

Also I have a lot of upper body muscle mass from weight lifting, I want to shred it down but not all of it completely of course.

How often and frequently should I lift weight on my non-boxing days?

And should I just keep a light weight?

              Advice appreciated

About two weeks in and I’m down 5 lbs, stomach feeling and looking leaner already...reducing carbs by half and upping another 20-30 grams of protein daily...

Ya boy gonna be SHREDDED by Turkey Day and I’m gonna cheat meal on some gravy and stuffing!
Then give ya ol lady a 7.5 inch stuffing!

You want to build endurance in your muscles. Whatever weight you work with, work it for 3 minutes. Endurance will become either your best friend or your worst enemy. It's your choice. And with three minutes, I do not mean do one rep and then rest for 30 seconds before doing another rep. You don't rest for 3 minutes per round... back to back non-stop reps for three minutes. If you can't do it for three minutes than take off some weight until you can do it for three minutes.

I got an exercise for you. Get a couple of 2lb weights that you hold in your hand. Put your arms straight out in front of you and start turning fast tight circles. If you tire then just turn the circles in the other direction or put your arms out to the side and keep turning the circles. Your arms are to be out at shoulder height, do not drop them. Do that for three minutes.
