Anyone Try the Mayweather Bag Routine?

I came across this video from a website I follow and it seems Mayweather's routine is actually legit. Has anyone tried it?

I mean... it took some random video of another guy saying it as opposed to the results of an atg type of fighter?

Of course it works. You don’t stop moving. That will test your conditioning REAL quick, especially if you up the tempo or the power, etc.

But everything has it’s use, it just depends what you’re working on. Nothing wrong with pauses and going with slow, powerful, perfect punches for example...Or leaning into the bag and just going ham without stopping with light punches, etc etc. What Floyd is doing isn’t uncommon.

Outside of going gloveless and destroying your hands, the heavybag is versatile that way. You can use it for conditioning or strength or to sharpen up delivery. Hell, you could do whole workouts with barely even punching it.

I can’t remember ever feeling dissatisfied after a heavy bag workout. Just have a purpose.

I like it. If the gym ever opens again, I'll mix it in. I don't see how anyone could criticize a workout technique of a fighter whose stamina has never let him down.

I say that and I'm not a big Floyd fan...

I do this in the padded elevator at work, don't judge me my gym still isn't open and there are no good spots in my ceiling to hang a heavy bag.
