One of my boxers bought the pro style and I have two elite. My other boxer bought an elite also. Again, they are very unhappy and prefer to wear a shock doc instead. My custom from Protech is going to be an upper Pro and lower Fusion with large air opening. I wanted to try something new so again, I'll review it here. I love Mr. Tellez'z mouthguards. I have been wearing them since 2002. ( Since 2002, wearing Mr. Tellez's guard, no cuts, no blood no head dings)(I also got hit with an uppercut under my jaw with such force! The mouthguard cushioned like no other would.) Look at www.boxingmouthpiecedoctor.com the prices on the site are very wrong. I would call him. He also flavors the mouthpiece. but, be prepared to spend $$$. you have to get an upper and lower mold from a dentist and send it to him in CA. I still have a new guard from him, but I wanted to try Protech just to see how they are. As a trainer, I want to give my boxers the best info... but so far, Mr. Tellez makes the best. I have never met him, but he takes the time to talk, even though I'm in NY and he works pretty quick.

i def prefer single over double. i had both and never experienced bleeding from the mouth, but i could breathe A LOT better.

Tom from Protech said he will combine both together. Fusion for the bottom because it is less thicker. There are no pics on the website of doubles, but on Mr. tellez's site there are. I will post a pic and a review of both. Again, a single or double is a preference thing.

Also, I am a mouth breather. After 3 nose surgeries and numerous breaks to my nose, breathing has become a problem. With the custom double and large air holes I breath great.

I also admit when it's time too. Two of my other better senior boxers here have received their custom mouthguards from Gladiator. They look great and they really like them. So, it's a preference and I have to also say to customguards... the two guards you made for myself look nothing or even as good. Why such a difference in quality? I have another young boxer here who is going to order a pro style guard from you. Like I said, your service is fast and prices good. So I am still sending business your way. But my guards were not well made.
