I dont know what the pound equals to the dollar, i think its roughly double and a bit am probably wrong though, so it might cost u just over a hundred dollars.

Gladiator??? Dont know but if u boil it in water and suck to mold to ur mouth i can bet my house the detist will do u a better 1.

by the way, what's the best way to speed up the "loose-tooth" healing process?

              calcium?

I don't mean to hurt a guys business, but I have bought several custom guard mouthguards from different companies. My boxers have also and sad to say, the customguard I have tried, two different mouthguards and I wasn't happy with them. Too thick at the top, don't taper off and do not cover gums. I wear a custom guard from Rudy Tellez, from the WBC, it is a double, softer rubber, large air holes. He makes the same guard for Delahoya and Margarito. Now cost wise, customguards is good. Rudy charges above $200.00 but it is worth every cent for me. I have recently ordered from Protech (also a double and in the $200.00 range) and I'll give a review on them too. Guys, I have been boxing twenty two years. You may not have problems with a boil and bite now, but remember... a mouthguard absorbs shock. That shock, if not properly absorbed, time and time again, especially from a boil and bite, eventually is what will cause the long term damage to the brain. All the best and I'll review Protech when it arrives. Again, I do not want to hurt a business, but two of my boxers have also bought the custom guard, and they are very disatisfied too.

Also, I wear a double, and no cuts to the lips at all. With a single, it never fails. Cut lips, bruises and more. Hit on the tip of the jaw, TMJ pain! With a double, my mouth is locked in place, and the custom opens the jaw just enough, not too wide. Look at Delahoya fight pics, Margarito, Chavez, Robert Guerrero, Barrera...they all wear doubles made by Mr Tellez. Fernando Vargas wears a double too, from a different dentist, but a double. There is a reason theses top pros do.. PROTECTION. But again it is a preference and a good single protects also.

where can people get those guards created by Rudy Tellez?

if it's not possible, I heard Protech makes the best customs.

I've heard from some people that the Gladiator Elite ($75) is a little too thick. Maybe the Gladiator Pro ($50) would have been better?
