Our western ignorance almost always forget there are divisions below 130lbs as 130 is considered small in the English speaking world, and the Japanese dominate at a world level below this.

I believe Japan has 8 world champs at point of writing (and they ain't paper champs, they are considered a force in their weight class)
japan has great boxers in the lowerweights, but mexicans always seem to be a little more skilled. it's a bigger scene in mexico. Japan has some skill but it's always sort of overshadows with the fact that the Japanese always come right at you to fight. in boxing you need a little more strategie then that.
