    Japanese Boxers chins/toughness

    What's their fookin secret?

How come most of them have unbelievable chins/toughness?

Arakawa, Kamegai, Miura, the one Quigg fought a few years ago was a tough ****er etc. There's probably more i'm forgetting off the top of my head.

Have they got some secret Ivan Drago like training regime they do over there or what?

    ****ing hard bastards.

Call me crazy but I honestly think it's because they're closer to the Samurai spirit.

I have a rule of never betting against a Japanese fighter to get stopped. They're incredibly tough and all seem to have some crazy superhuman fitness levels as well, I don't recall ever seeing a Japanese fighter gas.

I really should make more effort to watch the Japanese scene more. Whilst most lack the skills to get to the elite level they're sure a hell of a lot of fun too watch.

Wouldn't say they lack the skill, the opposite. due to the average size of Asian people (I mean this with utmost respect, please don't read into something I am not inferring) they are not regarded in the bigger weight classes (no one is) which is where the money/tv exposure is

Our western ignorance almost always forget there are divisions below 130lbs as 130 is considered small in the English speaking world, and the Japanese dominate at a world level below this.

I believe Japan has 8 world champs at point of writing (and they ain't paper champs, they are considered a force in their weight class)

It's mad, surely there's gotta be a proper explanation for it? They can't just by chance nearly all of em be tough ****ers? Wonder if they have any different training methods they do over there.
