Stay in moms garage where its safe ,your best bet is too break all your fingers to keep you from putting yourself in tough positions on here for awhile with the idiotic posts you do ( I dont fully put you at fault bc genetically are what you are ,and you cant fix ****** ).

          Personally i think we should just chop your hands off completely and give everyone a relief on here and in forum world in general for goodl!

Why do you think the military requires soldiers to pass PT exams involving calisthenics? It's because soldiers have to maintain strength for long periods of time (endurance). Just like boxers. Doing 5 rep sets on bench press and deadlifts aren't going to increase your endurance.

              Weight distribution - The distribution of the stress of a load on different muscle groups. (Certain exercises emphasize different muscles).

              What is your proof that Bench Press is the same as Push Ups?
              You claimed that lifting weights shortens muscles. That doesn't require evidence? It's not self evident like you claim. That's just a cop out because you can't find any studies to support your claims.

              The military uses calisthenics because it's the easiest way to have everyone do the same thing. It would be ridiculous to have 30-50 bench presses, squat racks, etc. instead of everyone doing calisthenics. It's cheap and space saving.

              Doing pushups doesn't give you the muscular endurance for boxing. Doing boxing drills and burnouts does.

              Pushups and bench press use the same muscles in the same range of motion. There's no reason that bench press would shorten muscles while pushups don't like you claim.

                    It's common knowledge that lifting weights shortens muscles. The contraction of the muscle is what specifically causes it. It's not my responsibility to educate you.

                    So far all of the studies you have posted have been "debunked" and only further discredit yourself. Don't forget that you claimed that sample size doesn't matter. Idiot.

                    Actually the military has a big budget and everyone would just work a different lift. It would take an hour instead of 3+ hrs in the morning.

                    Push ups are not in the same range of motion and do not work the muscles the same as bench press. Just because they involve the same muscles, doesn't mean they emphasize the muscle equally. Are you some type of ******? Chin ups work biceps and lats just like pull ups. The difference is the emphasis.
