That may be true but your opponent isn't aiming for your fist, they are aiming for your face. If you do manage to block with the fist then your hand is most likely going to hit you in the face.

I can also do stopping, weaving or bobbing. Also, I can reach out with the blocking. Getting my fist slammed at my face is the last resort (better than getting punched in the face).

Saying and doing is totally different.

Yeah, the point is "what I have options", not what I "can do". I feel confident with my offense. I don't feel so confident with my defense. I want some defense drill. I want to practice response timing & so on. Get used to using the defense rigorously instead of practicing only in the sparring, which I don't really get to practice neither anyway (I don't really wait for a punch to practice defense).

Dude, your logic doesn't make any sense.

How are you gonna improve on your Defense, if you're not sparring. You can't practice defense by yourself, unless your throwing punches at your self. You can't improve on defense, if you don't know how to handle being punched or what it feels like. Yeah, in my head I'm dodging and beating my imaginary opponent to dust with a perfect 100 - 0 - with 100 KO.

In real life, you're not gonna be dodging all the punches and kicks. You're gonna get hit. Guarantee, even from inexperienced fighters or average people.

The pace your going, you're most likely not gonna last close to 10 rounds.

Like Defense Drills. I like to make up my own training exercises. Have a coach throw a punch at me, and I defend it. It is like mitt works except that the coach is the one punching.

My main focus is diet anyway, not defense. Ate like crazy today, and I am like 63.5kg now. Have to lose like 10kg now.

I woke up this morning, it is 62.1kg now. I induced diarrhea yesterday before I went to sleep, flushed out like 1kg, lost a couple grams in sleep. Still, yesterday was like the last supper (taking a break from diet). From today, going into rigorous diet (starving) again until the end of October or November depending on when I reach the weight I want.

Moller my friend, In the beggining it is hard like everything new, its normal. Dont get discouraged. I know that in boxing there is a huge difference when another man beats you up and destroys your ego again and again BUT forget about it!!! Dont care!!! Get in the ring again and again and again try to relax and enjoy it, give your self some time, you ll see that after some months you will get better and day after day even better! Relax because Rome wasnt built in a day! It needs patience and hard work! Dont quit!
Its ok to pause, to stop for a while, even for some days but regain your power and continue!
You will see that good boxing is coming and when it does then... the ring is yours my friend!

                Cheers
