Alright guys so today was the first day I felt good, as I said i've had the flu for the last couple of weeks. I have taken some before pics and tomorrow will be my first session in the gym. i'll upload my starting pics soon and then lets get to work, i'm actually really looking forward to this as i am tired of feeling unhealthy and sluggish, and tired of eating takeaway and other garbage.

It's a really great feeling losing weight and cutting out bad food. When you get fit you're like 'why did I ever live like that?'

Then you already seem one step ahead of Fury.

I don't understand the purpose of comparing yourself to a pro fighter, who is not a bodybuilder. Maybe just post before and after pics of yourself no need to compare yourself to someone else, especially someone who isn't training for hypertrophy and how they look in a mirror...

One question for those in the know, what days should I add abs to, anyone got any ideas of a good abs program?

Abs should be trained daily. They aren't like other muscles which require a day of rest, they recover virtually overnight.

I'd recommend every other day at most bud.

The core gets worked during most major lifts anyway which will keep the abs and core engaged, but to really develop them you'll want to hit them full on 3 times per week.

How you train them will also depend on your goals though. If you're doing it for a bodybuilding purpose then it'll obviously be very different than how you'd train them for maximum athletic performance and purpose.
