Gene expression doesn't matter, it's not a permanent change. It just means your body is metabolizing fat for energy because that's what you're mainly eating. As soon as you go on a regular diet it will go back to what it was. I'm currently losing weight while eating almost no fat, there's nothing more to it than calories.Comment

Cutting any macro so low or totally out is not good for you, if you weren't meant to consume and use them for fuel the body wouldn't be able to and bad things would happen like if you ate a tin soda can.
Keep in all in balance and restrict your calories 400-600 minus is what I would suggest, but to lose 14lbs in 2 weeks? If you are just trying to make weight working out for 2-3 hours I have lost about 10 before in just sweat having not had any liquids so its not that hard to accomplish.Comment
