pre workout formulas have a hell of a lot more in them than caffeine. the important stuff in my pre workout is creatine. you will be stronger with creatine than without. it also aids in recovery. you can train longer without getting sore.
You'd value my brawn over my brains?

You don't need creatine pre-workout, the only thing would be a stimulant to give you the pump/drive. Creatine is good and yes it helps with muscle recovery but 5g of Glutamine post-workout makes you feel numb the next day. Oral ingestion of glutamine isn't as good as IV but it's great for the digestive system. Your essential nutrients like zinc are more important.

it depends on if you need the energy, if you don't it won't be. you'll get more benefit from the creatine.

if you're like me, and like a boost at 6:30 AM, it's the primary purpose. i don't need much help putting on muscle. i thank jesus for that. what i need is something to help me get out of bed in the morning. that extra hour and a half of sleep is mighty tempting when i'm f#cking tired.

i never take anybody seriously who gives nutritional or gym advice who isn't ripped, big, clearly an athlete, etc.

it's nothing personal, brih. people read crap on the internet and repeat it. i'm not saying that you're doing it, only that the only way to ensure that you aren't is to post your picture, preferably without a shirt [for my enjoyment.]

when people question my credentials, it's on the internet. in person, they see that i'm a f#cking athletic dude, and it gives me credibility.

creatine doesn't just help with recovery / soreness. you get stronger with it than without it. try it for a month if you don't believe me.

              1 green tea tea bag
              2 cups water (for steeping)
              3 large Medjool dates
              1 tbsp coconut oil
              1 tbsp hemp protein
              1 tbsp ground salba
1 tbsp sprouted buckwheat (or substitute cooked. I often also use ground oats)
              Juice from ½ lemon
              Juice from ¼ lime
              ½ tsp lemon zest

But lets face it, it seems like a lot of bother if you're not used to making your own.
Get on the yerba matte & green tea combo though. That **** has you focussing like a m*ther****er!

i'll let you handle that stuff, bro.

sounds liek the real deal, but i'll spend an hour mixing it up

I don't disagree with you about creatine, it's the best supplement in the natural world of bodybuilding/muscle hypertrophy. I'm due to start a cycle with it soon anyway. I'd just worry about a good routine and diet first.

I'm the kind of lady that likes to be wined & dined before I let a man get chufties over my midriff. . . . . but keep talking big boy. You never know. ; )
