Go to your local club and start boxing training ask the coach is it ok for you to spar but dont ask that day 1,if you like the training and learning curb ask the head coach if he has any amateur tournaments or gym bouts coming up and could you be involved its that simple as for turning pro i cant give any advice on that but i wish you goodluck.

One of the great things about this sport is the fact that you don't necessarily have to start doing it when you're ten years old if you ever want to be successful.

If you want to become a world class pro tennis player, you have start from an incredibly young age, same with sports like Moto GP and Formula 1, most of the people that compete in these sports started doing so from a very young age.

Not the same in boxing, look at Adonis Stevenson, he's 36 years old and is currently the WBC and Ring Magazine Light Heavyweight champion, Bernard Hopkins spent several years in jail before turning pro, Sergio Martinez didn't start boxing until he was in his mid twenties, George Foreman was in his late teens before he started.

If you work hard, remain focused and tell whoever is in charge at your gym that you want to fight, then anything can happen, don't doubt yourself and don't let anyone on some internet forum dissuade you from your goals.

        Box on !!!!!

              Thanks guys

I didnt watch the video but why the hell are you boxing in a random warehouse? go to a boxing gym man

edit: I watched the video. First off that stance is no good - your elbows are out, your fists practically touch each other, and your feet are placed in some of the most awkward places possible. You're open for pretty much every punch in the book and sometimes it even looks like your feet are lined up behind the other at the centre of your body, which is a big no no as you can get knocked off balance easily.

Also some of your head movement leaves you completely off balance, particularly around 00:29. Your whole upperbody shouldn't be completely outside of your footing like that.

Your combos dont look too bad but some of them dont look like they got any snap in it whatsoever. Also sometimes it looks like you're looking away when you're punching. That's a good way to get knocked out lol

My advice is get to a boxing gym ASAP, if you're dedicated you can make some progress in 4-5 months.

Hey man. You seem to have settled down a bit and I mean that in a good way. In the beginning its best to work on solid fundamentals before adding that flash. But overall I see you trying to work in some things. You could have more internal twist with that hook but I see you trying to turn more into them. Your knees are still stiff but I see you trying to keep consistent with your southpaw right dominant stance. You didnt look as off balance to me as in your first two videos. I see a decent upside to you because you are willing to take crits without flipping out and that is a valuable asset to have.

Boxing gyms aint alot and most provide the gear until you decide to bring in your own. You will need some good shoes, workout clothes, and a mouthpiece.

One of these guys is right about your D. Head movement is a learned thing, you cant expect to grow that overnight. Its muscle memory. The concept is you practice something 50000 times so you can do it right when it counts. The way you hold your hands or keep them holstered right before firing will impede your vision badly if you are wearing gloves and headgear. You have to devise a way to keep your vision clear so you can see your openings. Your left hand is a bit high in its guard position.. it should be tucked right by the chin. Keep structure in your hands as if they are always prepared to parry. With the head movement you have, your hands and forearms will be taking a beating to protect your face they need to be prepared to withstand the assault.

what else... ah mentality. Try to find a balance. A balance between power and finesse, tactics and aggression. And outside the ring be willing to learn from those who have something worthy to teach, but always keep sure of yourself and aware of what you can bring to the table. Alot of guys aint about nothin.. and you are already better than them. Keep that in mind. Dont go in there with the mentality of do I like getting hit. Go in there to make your ****ing mark. Savvy?

other than that work on balance, bending the knees.. fundamentals over flash, stance discipline, structure, turning your punches over, and following through. Practice something 50000 times to do it right when it counts.

                peace
