Also, I sure as hell hope it's not too late for you -- I'm about to turn 25 and I'm serious about training and getting into amateurs.
I think the hardest part for guys like us is not knowing whether it's your destiny or not until we sink in our entire hearts and souls in it. But for me it'll be worth knowing, even if I find out that it wasn't written in my destiny.

Are you kidding ? My boxer is in his 40's and would have no trepidation of him
being in the ring with a much younger fighter. It depends on how well you have
trained and what is your health and strength etc. Age is a state of mind many
times.

The fact that your asking instead of doing tells it all........yes your to old!
You could learn as much as you can and spar in the gym to try and help others but to learn from scratch at 27yrs and expect to compete..........??????
You better fight another 27 yr old with no experience! Or you can draw another novice class fighter who happens to have 125 J.O. bouts under his belt. You won't fare well, Good luck!
Ray.

id like to hear what u guys can say
If not too late where should I start
I can post a video of me shadow boxing if anyone wants to see to better judge if I got a chance :/.
now be gone.
jokes aside
sergio martinez first touched boxing at the age of 20. (on the decline for relying on speed, and is not technical)
antonio tarver's PRO debut was at 28. (but did amateur boxing from 16)
bernard hopkins what is he, like 48? still amazing due to his "technicality".....
is it too late?
