Then the fun begins at the gym with an hour of traditional boxing exercises and half and hour of sparring two to three times a week.

I come across a lot of folks who say they can 'definitely' run a certain time......and are way off on their predictions. A sub 30 min 5 mile time requires some pretty serious competence. It would be seen as a pretty promising time for a local club runner. Knocking 8 mins off your training time is a huge jump!

I can appreciate you only running the 5 miles as a warmup. I'm with you there. A sub 30 min 5 mile will leave most athletes too tired for further gym work. But if you really think you can run that fast, you'll have to test yourself sometime when you don't have any fights or tough sessions ahead. Only then will you 'definitely' know what level of running fitness you are at.
