throw the hook with out moving your arm. you'll then get a good idea. the hip rotation will come with proper footwork on the hook.

Is there any little tips or particular exercise that i can use to make rotating my hips become more muscle memory? I've only been boxing for about 6 weeks so I'm hoping its something that will just develope on its own but i want it now! lol

Hmm good try tossing remaining hook varieties really near to a bag then gradually returning away, you normally will use better hip spinning up near. throwing 3-5 remaining hook varieties in a row as quick as you can. allows practice the efficiency of movement.....

Put a 10Kg weight against your chest and hold it with crosses arms so that you isolate the body. Turn your torso using your legs and hips and tighten up your mid section so there is pure transmission from the ground up with no leakage. Make the movements boxing like. The weight and the drill will teach you to engage your pivot to get you a feel of how the body works.

That was clearly not an arm punch, I wouldn't even call the backfist behind it an arm punch.
