    Most conditioned fighter ever?

Who do you think was the most well conditioned fighter ever?
I'm thinking Marciano or Dempsey but then people like Louis Ali or Tyson come to mind but if I could only pick one its Marciano

Conditioned as in never appearing to be out of shape or conditioned as in a great gas tank and never seemed to fade?

Fighters that had great stamina and never seemed to fade, in shape all year round and kept consistency that come to mind; Bernard Hopkins, Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones, Gene Tunney, Danny Lopez, Marvin Hagler, Antonio Margarito.

Lets not forget Little Reds workrate either, the man would throw upto 220 punches per round. Incredible work ethic.

Way too many to name and also different fighting styles to take into account too. There were those past guys who were simply animals like Roberto Duran, who could go a harder 15 than anyone I've seen yet throwing very hard punches as well as being super savvy on defense, and there are classic swarmers like Armstrong, Greb (from all accounts), and light punching guys like Gavilan. Leonard was also incredibly strong over the full distance.

Someone like Calzaghe is a good one for today because he didn't just walk forward in a methodical fashion ala Margarito, which is easier to get into a rhythm with. He would switch up his attack, fight backward and forward, stay good on defense and fight inside and outside.

You talk about a few names at heavyweight forgetting entirely about the many, many other divisions and fighters who are very arguably better conditioned than those you mentioned.

Tyson wasn't well conditioned compared to lots of guys.

Monzon was a beast over the 15. Fighting Harada was a nutcase in his prime.

No doubt, Marciano was the most conditioned fighter that will ever step up in the ring, his conditioning was critical to maintain his "0"
