I don't know if I would let my fighters use that. while it would be good for some hand/eye all of the punches that are thrown are thrown down.

anybody who has fought will understand that when you get nailed with a shot your mind could flash back to anything and anywhere in the past. if the wheel happens to stop on you working that ball you will be in trouble.

I believe that everything during training should be done properly, slips, movement and especialy the punching............Rockin'

Is it just me who thinks this is ridiculous, would be of little to no benefit and is about as much use for hand eye co-ordination as Wack-A-Mole?

Just because a few pro's do it doesn't make it a good exercise. Maybe I took it a little too far saying it had no benefit I just feel there are a ton more exercises which are betetr then this. If it was that effective you would see all of the biggest names use it.

I assume its pretty much an elastic band thru a tennis ball, tied to a hat. I looks fun as all get out. Possibly something to break up a boring cardio routine, with a little benefit to hand-eye, but I'm not entirely sold that its actually a tool and not just a novelty item.

alright dude you win. you know more about the sport and training than lets say kostya tszyu...

nobody in here said its the most important workout for a boxer. it doesnt make or break a boxer. but it definitely helps. and if you disagree then you disagree with all the pro's that do use it and that have trainers telling them to do it. and for some reason i think they know a bit more about it than you do, no offense.
