For 8 months you are doing well especially with a reach/height/weight dis-advantage. You paced yourself quite well and moved around the ring.
Just wondering if you should of done a lil more smothering as your shorter arms could of been used better for an inside combo. Slipping his jab and coming in. Or did you coach tell you to range box abit more?

Anyway keep it up, you can always improve pobody's nerfect.

I actually thought you did very well. At first I was thinking you were the one in the red, I was going to be nice and tell you just keep practicing. But if you really are the shorter one, then you are not bad at all. That was pretty good. Good luck.

Lol you did fine, I think people are exaggerating. Keep sparring and learning new things, you have good movement and know how to throw punches, you didn't get hit too many times. You did good. Don't let people put you down.

If you can commit yourself to maintain proper form, your punches will land crisper, with a thump.

The way that guy was open, you could have dropped them. But these are things you realize after the fact, and if some one points it out. Talk to your trainer, he would know better than the most of us on this board.
thx brah.. this was my first sparring match in about two months so i was a little off.. my trainer says i have great potential do u guys concur?

It doesn't matter if he has been boxing for 4 years more competent fighters are out there and if you don't work on plugging your holes they will capitalise on it. It is a good thing to have confidence but if you stick around the sport long enough you're going to come across someone who will avoid your punches or be able to take them and fire back leather of their own. Your power will not break them down and you will want to work on the flaws on your game so that they do not systematically break you down.

If you want to be good at something that is the type of criticism you should expect.

Your a stocky guy, so I expect you to have good power.

Potential is a subjective term. It really comes down to how bad do you want it to become really good.

So if you entirely committed to learning the craft. Awevo (Hell Yeah!). You have an athletic build, you just seemed a little tense in this video.

Don't include me in the constructive criticism. Haha. I haven't said anything you could do better on. I've actually given you nothing but compliments.

You've only been training for 8 months? Pretty damn good, bro. Seriously, you should change your mindset and be more humble. You don't want to walk around thinking you'll destroy everybody in your weight class. Theres always someone out there who is either more experienced, stronger, or faster than you.
