You gotta let those hands go. You seem a bit hesitant, a bit too worried about getting hit. You need to follow up when you connect, throw combinations not just 1-2's. You'll loosen up the more you spar though.

      Ok brief 2cents.

Guy in the white, got very sloppy, and desperate at the middle of the round. His lack of rhythm, made it hard for him to set up anything.

Your tossing your power punches too wide, and you are also looking to counter a bit too much. Don't sleep on the body shots. Out of the 11 body shots, you landed 2wish that made me cringe.

You can cross - reference this with your coach, I am sure he spotted the same and much more.

I kinda laughed at the way you were moving in there.

It's like your movement was a little robotic or you were stiff.
He's only been in the ring for 8 months. Everyone starts out that way.

Discipline, I don't mean to sound like a prick but there are times where you slap with punches like a girl/nerd and there are times where you carelessly swing your right hand. Against a competent opponent you would get put to the ground.

For only 8 months that's pretty impressive. You're calm in the ring, not overly anxious, and not taking wild shots. I like how you parry his punches. Good job!

Not a good way to start off because once that guy comes that can take your best shot and smile then you're in trouble if that's all you brought to the game...power. And you'll have to hit them with that power first. Can't punish what you can't hit.

I love how everyone comes in here and critiques him like he's a seasoned vet.

I saw 2 or more shots on the body, where your form was dead on. Grounding, leverage, and execution. Just right.

The rest of the time, you where simply tossing punches from the shoulder.

If you can commit yourself to maintain proper form, your punches will land crisper, with a thump.

The way that guy was open, you could have dropped them. But these are things you realize after the fact, and if some one points it out. Talk to your trainer, he would know better than the most of us on this board.
