Well, I just came back ashamed of myself. It turns out the track I run at is 300 meters, not 400 meters. Therefore, my times were incorrect. If I'm not mistaken, a mile is 1600m. Therefore, 4 laps equal a mile. When taken into account the new information and that the track is a mere 300 meters, I realized that 5.3 laps equal a mile.

My time for a mile clocked in at a laughable 8:23...

*The shame is too much to bear*

Its the first time ive used my i pod to track a run, the other times i just took what my mate said we done it in as gospel..... I think he was blowing smoke up my ass because i was definitely going faster today i even had a stitch at the end!

Anyway i ran 5k in 23 mins 11 seconds, stretched my legs for about 2 or 3 minutes id guess then ran the 5k back and finished with a time of 49 15 seconds

Was raining too which was not good, i feel like ive been to the dentist and had my mouth frozen from the bottom lip down!

Well, i didnt get any runs in this weekend. I blame it on the colombians and equadorians in the family. Goddam cookouts every day that never want to end. Plus i had to coach.

Just did my 6 miles run i wanted to be 8:40 per in but it was 8:50. Lame. 53 minutes n change. Sent it to baya. Tom im gonna do 4 miles in the am and train in the pm. Maybe try and ko a 7 minute mile too.

Damn this thread. I miss 3 days and im all behind and ish.

Ive been hitting up at least 4 runs a week including my sprints, adding oneore to that.

My wife does yoga and ish, but she drops weight just fine after the bany without doing shi t.

Damn baya, i was hoping your ass was all skinny and thats why you're killin my times and distances. Fook! You got about 4 lbs on me, im 192 right now and looking to get to 182-4.

Lol! That ish happened to me about 18 months ago. Someone told me the track in the park by my house was 2 miles, so i though i was blowing through 4 miles in 28 minutes in 98 degree weather in the summer. Then i started my old imap account and found out it was 1.45 miles.

                  LOL!!!!

                  I'm STILL embarrassed.

I went and did two miles today as fast as I could and did 18:22. I started slowing down towards the end but I think fairly good.

My body is accustomed to long distance running...or perhaps jogging. Whenever I try to go for "personal bests" I end up getting very tired because I have to run faster than I'm used to. 6 miles 1 hour and 10 minutes...that's 11:40 more or less per mile.

By the way, it was a 1.45 mile track, so i was doing 2.9:

I bet your times improve a lot now that you know. Thats what happened to me.
