You need to work more on your running. If I were you I'd add sprinting to your regimen. That always help you to run faster and not to mention it aids your aerobic capacity and vice versa. I don't know exactly the PT requirments are in the Marine Corps but you need to at least cover 2.5 miles in under 3 minutes or something along those lines.

Hold on for a sec, no one covers 2.5 miles in 3 mins. There have been a few serious mistakes here in terms of running times!
This guy doesnt know what he is talking about, after you run a mile in 3 minutes you should probably do like 500 push ups in about 2 minutes then sprint 5 miles in 10 minutes and finish it up with with 50 747 tosses.
