hey bro, i actually like ur bully/pitbull style, the HW is obviously bigger than you and I could see it was causing him some problems..decent lateral movement, all i'd say is dont back off in a straight line and maybe some work on the shoulder roll defence if thats what you wanna do?
    gd work though and gdluck!

thanks alot. i like to mix it up i enjoy being on the outside as well on the inside. box and bully when i need too just mix it up. yeah the more i get back in shape the more fluid quick my lateral movement and my footwork will be. its all down to my conditioning and just being consistant.

i really appreciate everyones comments well those who had things actually say. thanks

you look like your on your way the both of you seem to know how to work.
but once and a while go balls out to build stamina.

You got some decent footwork and head movement, while you do look a bit lethargic, the fact that you were in with a HW it didn't really matter, had it been another 160lber you would've probably been killed by the speed.

Your right hand is way too low man, you want that fast snappy jab and that's why you carry it so low I'm sure, but you gotta cross you left hand over to watch for the counter, he caught you with a NASTY Jab at 8:20 that could have been avoided by just having your right hand up, or slipping it.

KNEES!!..you have them, so USE THEM!..lol..you gotta bend at the knees bro, not the waist, two reasons, you'll eat uppercuts and you won't see any openings available.

other than that you're doing alright man, can't wait to see the 20lb difference along with the progress, keep it up and keep us posted homie

2 things that I would focus on if I was you, fundementally speaking, (judging from the video of course) is the jab and the slipping straight down with your knees. those two things alone will make you much better against most opposition.

you was spot n bro. the HW is much easier especially since he didnt keep a jab in my face i was able to work with my own pace. and yeah i said my conditioning is reason why i lean in more than using my knees to slip. with using my knees im able to counter faster and give even more lateral movement. i wouldnt been too bad vs someone my natrual weight with speed but he would have made me work much harder. thanks for your words i def appreciate them and as training goes i will post more and show my improvement. thanks again.

                    Are you a natural southpaw??

I always try to get fighters to convert orthodox..I'm not a fan of the southpaw stance, and it's much worse when you're up against another southpaw since it's so rare.

Not many people have video of themselves sparring to post so I have to hand it to you for proving you box, unlike most of the people who talk the worst trash on this site.

I didn't watch all of the video but you seem to handle yourself okay in there with a much larger, although maybe somewhat muscle bound, opponent. I did notice that you keep your hands very low a lot of the time, and you duck down at times, losing sight of your opponent. That would be a no no of course. I think you need a lot more sparring and time in the ring to work on your defensive skills, like head movement and catching punches with your gloves. More time on the heavybag to work on your punching too. I know it's only sparring but I feel that you could be a little more explosive and all around looser.

I hope you stick with it, work hard, and constantly improve. You seem like a nice guy and possibly an animal lover too (nice pug) so I feel like I have to root for you.
