the problem he has is that he wont let his knuckle heal. he tries so many different things and then he asks himself why none of it works. it CANT work if you dont let your knuckle heal first. no money/equipment in the world is gonna help you with that, you need to rest your knuckle. once thats done wrap your hands properly. if you dont have any of those cheap 10 dolllar gloves you shouldnt notice any pain anymore. but let it heal already. theres no point in buying winning gloves, winning knuckle guards, winning hand wraps etc. without letting your knuckle heal. its not gonna matter, your knuckle will always hurt until you let it heal.

as for "how long" nobody can give you a date. 1-2 weeks maybe. see for yourself, put a little pressure on the knuckle with your other thumb and if it still hurts you need to give it more time. if you continue to hit the bag like that it will not go away

I decided no punching for 2 weeks with right hand except in shadow....

Got the winning however and compared to Twins 16oz it's totally different glove. I though Twins are stiff cause they are 16 oz (I was used to my Adidas 12oz) but it ain't it.

Winning are great for making a fist also because you have that thumb over fist....hard to describe.

Not much to tell since I haven't yet used them but they sure are LIGHT for a 16 oz....happy that I bought them.

        I totally agree.
I know it's very frustrating to skip heavy bag and mitts work because of a seemingly "minor" injury, but letting the knuckle heal really should be first priority, otherwise this will go on and on and linger even more. Focus on other things in the meanwhile, shadow boxing is a good idea in order to not get out of rhythm too much in the meantime.

I do that exactly. And I did try to hit the bag with my left and it felt nice with the new gloves.

          Update:
I can't really use knuckle guards as they make even winning glove stiff. Like there is not really a room meant for knuckle guards....Also that winning bandage is not as comfy as everlast.

I keep trying new things with my left hand only of course....

and btw I never did wrap hands incorrectly..

Maybe you should break in the gloves first for a few sessions, then try the knuckle guards. However, since you're using Winning gloves already, that should be more than enough hand protection when just using wraps only.

check out 1:43 of the video, it shows Marquez putting on the guards. It looks like he is using 2 guards on one hand, because that grey/white pad that he is putting on top of the winning knuckle guard (blue), is what's actually inside the blue cover of the guards.

I mean they sure are great. If you put them on bare hand and hit the bag lightly feels great.

I see hes putting them on top of wraps and than the tape over (X knot)

What happens for me is when I put mz hand in a glove and than make a fist theres too much pressure on my knuckles because of too small space. Probably with burning them in it'll change.

Also I switched to a club where they have softer bags....like heavy but soft.

I did a ultrasound scanning and it show that I've broken that middle knuckle bone.....it happened because:

-I used tight gloves like Twins
-punched hard heavy bags that were also deformed (lost the proper shape)
-shot some vicious right crosses ^^

It's getting better now all I do is light sparing and those Winning 16oz really help so there's no pain.

My hands have been really happy since I started using "everlast gel wrap gloves"..Bone brusies just take a long time to heal.Get It xrayed if you can..I like Epsom salt soaks and massage my hands alot to increase circulation that and Advil/aspirin.
