  • how long doe a 2mile run take u?

    Just trying to gauge where i am here so how long does a 2mile run take u? Trying to be as fast as u can. I do 2 mile about 3 times a week and the a long 10 -12 mile run once a week

      Well it depends on the surface of the 2 miles.

      At the moment I can run it in about 14.30 but it is quite hilly

            I guess that depends on if you're a threadmill runner or a real runner, like said above, depends also on the surface.

                  yeah about ten mins ......i normally run 7-8 miles uphill on a mountain take a bit longer

                    An honest 12 minutes on a flat measured track on tarmack.

                    I'm very dubious about Major's ten minutes for two miles. One measured five minute mile on the flat is seriously competent, to do that twice consecutively would put you amongst the very best local elite.

                    Two miles is 8 laps of a standard 400metre sports track. I'd advise Major to give this a serious timed try, my guess is that 10 minutes will be seriously hard to attain!
