  • Give Me Your Thoughts On This Regime!

    Hi

Am 19. Am about 5''9 and weight about 79kg. Am in fairly ''Ok'' shape. Am not fat. But I just hate my body.

For the past 15 months I just ate & ate. And done no training. I've always dabbled in training but nothing serious. Struggiling to get motivated.

But I just hate my body. When I sit down, i have alot of fat around my waist area and am unfit. And I want to get in shape, but I mean incredible shape.

I want to just give up all the bads foods for life. I want a Manny Pacquiao/Floyd Mayweather type body. There abs are incredible.

And BTW the I don't box or anything, I wanna do it just for me.

And I will be starting my regime soon. But I just wanted to show you guys my regime etc diet/training. Take a look.....................................

    Breakfast
5 Table Spoons Of Oatmeal Porridge with Skimmed Milk with 1 sliced bannana
    1 Boiled Egg
    1 Orange

    Snack
    Yogurt with Bannana.
    Some G****s & 1 Apple

    Lunch
Wholemeal Brown Bread (2 Slices) withTurkey/Chicken/Tuna (Will Change It Up) with salad & tomato
Or just 2 Boiled Eggs with Wholemeal Brown Bread (2 Slices)

    Snack
A Salad/Some Fruit or Yogurt. (Again will change it up)

    Dinner
Steak/Chicken/Beef/Fish(Again will change it up) with a portion of steam vegtables etc Aspargious, Cabbage, Broccli, Carrots. And myabe some sweet pototoes or brown rice.

    Snack 2 slices of turkey.

    Drinks
2.5 liters of water a day
2 to 3 cups of green tea a day
Protien Shake = 1 sccop of whey protien, 2 banna's, spoonfull of peanut butter.
    Freshly squezzed orange juiced.

Now here's the early stages of what my training regime will look like.

    -2 to 3 mile run a day.
-250 to 500 sit up's a day on sit up bench.
    -Weights
    -Try and get into swimming.

Will probaly add my more to my training regime.

    Vitamins
    -Multivitamin
    -Iron supplment
    Will be getting more vitamins

So overall what do you think of it. How good of a body do you feel I could get of this if I stuck to it? How fit could I become?

    Thanks.

    Exacellent diet.

Far too many situps. Personally I think situps are a pretty useless core exercise anyway.

Expand on what you mean by "weights".

And "how good of a body" and "how fit will i be" are incredibly hard to answer, they're not really quantifiable.

First off thanks for getting back.

Interesting that u feel situps are useless, why?

When I say weights i mean just lots of reps with fairly light weights just to tone my body. And some bench press.

I am a perfectionist lol. If am gonna do something i can't just put 40 or 50% in. I have to give it a 1000%. People say oh still have a lil bit of junk etc. but thats just not me.

Maybe i have a lil bit of OCD. lol

Most people end up moving their head forward and pulling on their lower back during situps, and usually also incorporate their legs, so theyre not isolating their core. I think theyre a pretty inefficient way to strengthen or gain mass for your core. Countless better exercises out there.

If you're lifting stick to basic compound movements. Toning is a bull**** word, it's gaining mass either way to lift to gain mass healthily.

            How do you mean?

I don't box anymore due to injury but I lift weights. I follow a regime and stick pretty well to a solid diet, I do a bit of cardio now and then through running, swimming, football etc but nothing regular.

                Cereals and/or toast for breakfast.

Lunch is pasta salad, sandwiches, even stuff like beans on toast with cheese.

I snack on yoghurts and fruit, but also biscuits and bags of crisps.

Dinner is meat and veg, lasagne, casserole, curries (homemade), chilli, pasta dishes etc.

                Supper is same as breakfast.

I have protein shakes as well.

Not a stellar diet but i meet my five a day, always hydrated, fresh food etc.
