Fat is much worse, the grease that comes from the oil damages the heart to a maximum, now i am british so you can imagine how much fast food i have eaten but the thing is if it's a cheat meal you want the most calories and you want to be full up to the max you can get right? Candy is a little piece of **** that can't compare to fat, candy is a little thing anybody can have and won't make a difference.

Fruits have tons of natural sugars in them (fructose) which differ from processed sugars in candy. Try weening yourself off chocolates. I have loads of sugar (from fruits) daily, and it doesnt hurt, usually on the way to the gym or before a run though.

What people in general call "sugar" is 50% fructose, 50% glucose, and quite frankly, it's "better" then 100% fructose.
Fruit as a whole is better then pure sugar of course, since it also contains fibers, micronutrients etc, but as carbohydrates go... 100% fructose is actually worse.

Id pick the burger as it has a large amount of protein even if it is fatty. Candy is essentially worthless. Throw a grilled burger on a whole wheat bun with some turkey bacon and low fat cheese and you got a burger that is just as delicious without having to clog your arteries tho.

I picked fat because your body actually needs some fat to work. And if the fat has protein in it like a burger then it is a no brainer for me.
The body doesn't actually need sugar. And sugar is often High Fructose Corn Syrup -which more and more studies are showing can wreck insulin production and alter the body's ability to process natural sugars. So a candy type binge woild make me feel way worse.

Think back to our ancestors. Many of them had zero sugar in their diet for their entire lives.

Sugar as in the refined forms we see today are absolutely useless and detrimental to our health.
Especially if the sugar is consumed in large amounts, which nowadays it always is.
Basically you can get all the energy (glucose) you need from carbs and protein. Your body does not need any type of man made sugar, or fructose for that matter (although dont stop eating fruit).
With sugar it is ok in very small amounts, but eat a bag of candy and the pure sugar will cause your blood glucose levels to rise dramatically in a very short space of time which will eventually mess up your insulin response and many other functions.
Carbs do the same thing, when you eat carbs they convert to glucose, but the difference between carbs and candy, is that carbs convert to glucose slowly and steadily and so your blood sugar levels are consistant. Sweets, candy and anything high in refined sugar will mess you up.
Everyone is saying how bad fat is, but the real ****er here is sugar.
