Just watch Gerald McClelan or Tommy Hearns drop in right hands (to the head). They move their heads forward and to the left, getting out of the way of any possible right hand counters...................Rockin'

I always bend my knees and tilt my body forward a little.

"[That video spoke nothing of a straight right to the body. And you don't rotate your back foot, it should just happen because of the rotation of your hips. But you are pushing off of the back foot."

This guy who's a fighter says "turn it a little bit, not too much" . Exactly what I did

Do you think my right hand in the clip looks unorthodox or do you see it at times? That's how I throw it at range.

I don't disagree doing it to the head when you are gunning for a shot.

It's when you are NOT gunning for a shot and simply going for a body shot that it makes less sense, to me, to dive down with the head.

You are not going to KO him with a straight right to the body so why dive the head and expose it to a counter?

Don't be so sure of not stopping a fighter with a body shot. Put it in there right and doors open up wide.

I did it so many times, I don't recall ever eating an uppercut while taking their breathe our of their lungs.

Anything can happen in there doe, left hand in place and let it rip..................Rockin'

Have you dropped someone with a straight right to the body?

You weren't going to the body in your video.

To hit with power you should be putting your bodyweight into the punch. Which means a forward lean, not standing upright.

I do have a slight forward lean. I'm just not bending my head.
