      Hi Little Mac,

Cheers bud, you are doing well, I was running as flat out as I could. I ran that time last Saturday afternoon, the week before was when I did the 9 mile in 61 mins so I wanted to see if I could do half the distance in 30 mins, I was well chuffed...........but exhausted to beat 29 mins by a few seconds.

Tomorrow I'm going to aim for 3 miles in 18 minutes, a couple of others on this thread claim to be able to do it. I know I cant quite make it but I'll be happy with an 18:30-18:40. I'll post my time up for a laugh when I've done it.

I've just watched that again. Those last two were amazing, a ridiculous level of fitness!

Oh well...............I did the run this afternoon in 18:45, so just outside my target. It was on a measured half mile road circuit and there are slight gradients so I guess on a nice, bouncy, flat track I'd beat this by a good ten or twenty seconds. I'm a touch disappointed, I started too fast and did the first half mile in 2:48, by the fifth half mile I was down to 3:16! Oh well, I'll try and beat it next Saturday.

              Mile 1: 5:53
              Mile 2: 6:26
              Mile 3: 6:26 again!

Hi LBD, I think the thread starter just meant one mile by itself. A few have expanded on their running times for different distances.
