    to sit on a leg means to put weight on it.

    MA jargon and talk can also mean different things at different levels in different styles.

        gauge the distance on kicks, i didnt even see anyone say that. you should be able to move sideways to avoid anything. if hes gonna punch theyre gonna be looped n ****ty. get flush with him when hes throwin weakass technique-lacking punches and send straights down the middle. bust his nose and eyes up. hit a left hook to the liver, left to the jaw and youre sure to catch him after a flurry of straights. grab him by the head and throw him down after the left hook and bust his ****in head.
        if youre in a any sort of "formal" ring it should be even easier.

          i have once faught a mma guy. in the beggining of the fight he started throwing kicks from far distance . all what i did is taking a chance to slip under a high kick to become close yo him and then i took him down with a left hook. mma guys have bad defence compared to boxers . just avoid his kicks and he's done.

            Yeah, "sit on that leg" means to put weight on that leg - the flexing of the muscle will provide a bit more protection, like clenching your abs when you get hit.

            I should've mentioned that judging the distance on kicks is important, and different than punches...

                nah pork chop, there are plenty of "experts" here who have years of experience in multiple arts lol.

                i doubt your advice has been noted as much as it should. tis why i dont post as often.

                anyways, i wouldnt sit on my front leg if it is being attack as i could have my knee broken by a seven * kick. but, im sure those fave kicks of ours are illegal in mma.

                personally, i would cut into or out of the kick or use the 1,0,1 timing. u know, the "in between" beats rhythm especially for a high kick. spinning kicks definitely get the cutting from me. i almost threw someone over a 3 foot stack of floor mats last time i practiced those haha.

                  It is not easy to take down a moving target. Since most of the bums in the cage are stationary, they are easily taken down.

                      The way for you to beat this MMA fighter is to charge in and shoot for a takedown. You always need to surprise opponents in fights, this will be the last thing in the world he suspects.
