If anything, it would be more funny to see a newbie show up to the gym his first day wearing 100 dollar gloves. If you ask me, I have respect for people regardless of what gloves they wear. Like someone else said, it's ****ed up to laugh at someone when they simply can't afford expensive gloves, but still love the sport.

I have a habit of screaming Ricky Hatton style when I'm doing mitts (only when I start to get tired though..) and subconsiously I think about not doing it but then as soon as I concentrate back on hitting the mitts I start back up! Hahahaha.. I feel hella ****** and bad for people who have to listen to me but for some reason when I'm hella tired, it makes me feel like I can exhert more force and resist from quitting if I .. yell? scream? Whatever.

And yes, I've been boxing for years. Not a newbie but you'd expect a new kid to try and attract attention this way so I decided to post it!

I'm new to boxing, but aren't many pro boxers of humble origins? & isn't/wasn't boxing cosidered a blue collar sport.

I couldnt think of anything that was that funny, I think most new guys pretty much feel pretty nervous and try not to make a **** of themselves.

One thing that is amusing is watching them trying to skip for the first time, especially when they do those girly schoolyard type skips and theres a few of them doing it at the same time. or totally warped attempts at hand wrapping, but I will show them tho.
