22? ***** i wish i were 22 now. I'm 26 and just started my boxing mission almost 2 years ago. People say i'm still young, but i feel old. So if 26 is still young, 22 is super young.

Did you know Marciano didn't start seriously training as a boxer until he was in his mid 20's?

So the question isn't "am i too old?" The real question is what am i willing to go through to accomplish my goals.

Well said.. I am sure he appreciates the encouraging comments that are being thrown his way. I was reading this thread with the same thoughts in mind as the guy who started this thread. I am glad I did, because now I have a lot of confidence knowing its not too late. I just turned 19 and I am really looking forward to getting involved.

I turn 18 in 3 days ..and I believe that i'm still not too old to do something I like.

With that said, as long as you put enough dedication and heart into something and you set a goal...guaranteed if you work hard enough, you'll reach that goal. (as corny as that sounds)
