so this is my first fight. it was a loss, but a big lesson learned. i completely forgot everthing i was tellin myself the day of and day before the fight when i stepped inside the ring. my coach warned me not to throw everythin i had into my combos or **** it out with him because i would tire out easily, but as soon as i got in the ring that's exactly what i did. i lost all my gas and didn't have the energy to move around and the ref called it off.

comments and feedback would be appreciated... thanks

You move into his right hand with your chin up too much...

What did you both weigh in at? He looks at least a division, maybe two, bigger than you. Overall you didn't look to bad, he was just bigger and stronger, which wore you down.

Minor adjustments, and a guy your size, you're in it to win it.

BTW, props for posting that. It's a lot easier posting a fight where you look good and win, than one that ends like that. Keep believing in yourself!

            hey not bad mate

you tend to swing a little wildly with ya chin up and drop your hands when throwing occasionally but overall it was pretty decent, stick with it man

as punchdrunk said he did look roughly 5-6 kgs heavier, i know it doesnt sound like much but it is.......

You are surely looking good for your first fight. Like the other said, you drop your hands, sometimes when comming in and something after your throw.

I also noticed that your jab is a little bit lazy and you don't use it as much as you should. I would suggest working on getting a stiffer jab and using it more before throwing thos big right hands.

Finally when you move out, you back up in a straight line. It's not a big deal because everybody does that at first, but it's still important.

Anyway, props for posting that video. That guy looked pretty experimented and you did well. Don't let it get to you.
