Your a big guy, you need to be eating a lot more than a banana for breakfast and 1 orange for lunch. The way you're eating at the moment is just slowing down your metabolic rate and your body's going to go into starvation mode. It will also start eating away at your muscle mass so even if you start dropping weight your physique will pretty much look the same. You need to try and eat regularly throughout the day to get your metabolism going, and try and consume protein with each meal. This will help you to burn fat rather than just dropping water weight. I was 252lbs when I first started boxing last year and I'm now floating around 230lbs and holding onto my muscle mass. You're in the Super Heavyweight class and like me you probably don't have the option of being anything but a Super Heavyweight, so you don't have to worry about making weight or drastically having to drop weight quickly. You just need to knuckle down, get yourself fit and drop your bodyfat percentage whilst trying to hold onto your muscle mass. Aim to improve your athleticism rather than just thinking "I need to drop weight fast".

The bigger you are, the more energy you burn, just by being, so the more you can eat, and the less you have to do to burn a lot of calories. Especially when you're fat. Try being 160, at 7%BF, then come back and tell us it's hard to lose weight being 275lbs, 30%Bf,

as for having the option of being anything but 201+ lbs, there are other options. I mean, the money is at heavyweight, but if a person really wanted to, with a proper mindset a guy like you or myself could probably get down to 180-185, kill themself before fight time and make 175. but, like I said, heavyweight is where the money and respect is in boxing...little guys hate to hear it but it's true.
